Arnold’s opinion is not convincing. Freaks are very interesting for the public. The reason why we cannot see Bodybuilding on TV has to do with the sick structures of bodybuilding federations. No tv station will ever deal with non-democratic ferderations that don’t let athletes financially participate in commercializing Bodybuilding.

Sounds like the typical old man yearning for his youth and ragging on the progression of the sport.
Bodybuilding is what it is, who knows where it will be in 10-20yrs or more from now?
Say what you will about todays behemoths and the mass monsters going too far etc but there has always been a place in bodybuilding for the truly big guy.
It just so happens that todays elite want to be that guy.
When that typical old man is a multiple Mr. Olympia winner and Godfather of the sport, I tend to put more weight into his words.

Arnolds place in the history of bodybuilding is one of prominence no doubt, to anoint him godfather of the sport is totally subjective.
He was great, but I rate Sergio, Mike Mentzer, Dorian and Ron ahead of him.
