We all know high rep training is a godsend for calves, but if you keep at it sooner or later you’ll plateau. It will take you twice as much to keep adding mass, which is why you must switch between lightweight to heavyweight to keep it fresh.
With a heavyweight, you can incorporate fewer reps. This training will really help with tissue repair and regeneration which will ultimately cause the muscle to grow.
Most people make the mistake of letting go once they see their desired results, that’s a mistake! You should be consistent to maintain the results. You can take a day or two off once in a while but don’t make it a habit man!
