For instance, there’s the regular Ample meal replacement, the Ample V (Vegan) and of course the Ample K shake which is geared toward people who follow a Ketogenic diet. It’s really high in fat and low in carbs which allows the body to be in a state of Ketosis (The body starts to utilize fat sources for energy rather than carbs; therefore you burn more body fat)!

Ample KAmple K is Soy and Gluten-free while containing plenty of Fiber, greens, and 40 billion CFU of Probiotics for gut health.

We gave the 600 calorie version a go and want to offer our take on how this Ketogenic meal shakes measures up.

Let’s start this review off with a list of Ample K Pros and Cons…

What We Like

  • Tastes really good!
  • Convenient pre-filled, ready-to-shake bottle
  • All-natural, real foods
  • Great digestive health ingredients

What We Don’t Like

  • Quite Pricey
  • Lacking in some nutrients

Ample K Nutrition

For the 600 calorie shake (There’s a 400 calorie option as well) you get 19 grams of Protein, 51 grams of Fat (78%), 19 grams of carbohydrates (6%), 14 grams of Fiber (56%) and 3 grams of Sugar.

Ample K Ketogenic Formula
Ample K Ketogenic Formula

25 grams of Fat is Saturated (0 Trans Fat) and Cholesterol is 5 mg (2%) per serving, plus you get 580 mg (24%) of Sodium and 350mg (10%) of Potassium.

Now, for the vitamins and minerals… Ample K supplies 25% Calcium, 25% Vitamin D, 8% Iron and 25% Magnesium. There could be more vitamins and minerals to make Ample K a “more” complete meal alternative but at least it does provide these essential nutrients.

What Makes Ample K an Ideal Ketogenic Meal Choice?

It has all-natural, real-food ingredients

This is an obvious reason as to why Ample K is a very high-quality meal alternative. It contains only real foods (We all know real food is the best), unlike many products which include processed ingredients that are plain unhealthy!

The majority of calories come from the healthy fat sources (Coconut Oil, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Medium Chain Triglycerides and Sunflower Lecithin) in Ample K and it’s very Keto-friendly.

The fruits and greens are a very attractive addition to Ample V shake, seeing as they are essential for good health. Since the product contains a generous amount of Fiber, well… let’s just say you’ll be able to more easily stave off obesity, heart disease, and digestive issues. Plus, you’ll be more regular, more often! (1)(2)(3)

Digestive Health Bacteria

It’s no secret that Ample products contain a great source of 6 different types of probiotic bacteria (Ample K contains 40 billion CFU of healthy Probiotic bacteria). Now, there are several reasons why someone may need more healthy, live bacteria like Probiotics.

We live in a world where we’re vulnerable to extreme stress, unhealthy eating habits, and the need to take many gut-stripping medications like antibiotics for example. Well, if we don’t restore the good bacteria, our health will suffer greatly and this is when many types of diseases form. (4)

Gut health is crucial to good health and long life, so it’s important to feed ourselves nutritious foods capable of restoring and maintaining healthy bacteria. This is why supplementation with Probiotics is a great idea and Ample K delivers big time here! (5)

It’s super convenient!

This is such an amazing benefit of Ample K… the bottle comes pre-filled with powder, so all you have to do is add water (Cold water is best) and shake it up. Then you can enjoy a tasty and nutritious meal in a bottle anywhere you’re at (No blender or shaker cup needed).

Where Does Ample K Fall Short?

Ample claims to be a “full, nutritious meal” and make no mistake, it offers a lot for the person who follows the Keto lifestyle but it’s missing some vitamins and minerals. However, this is no big deal if you’re eating a nutritiously complete diet from other food sources. It still serves its purpose well.

How Does Ample K Taste?

All I can say is that I really loved the Ample K flavoring and texture. Now, it was a little gritty at the end but this wasn’t a big deal for me.

Ample K Taste
Ample K Taste

Ample K tastes like a cookie with Coconut and cinnamon which is hard to dislike! The texture was great and requires a little extra shaking to get the clumps out but other than that, there are no complaints here!

The taste of Ample K is very enjoyable and satisfying!

Ample K Price

The options for Ample K are 400 or 600 calories bottles and you can make a one-time purchase or subscribe to save and have automated shipments direct to your doorstep (You’ll save 10% if you subscribe). These Ample K bottles are honestly pretty pricey but that is usually the case with quality and convenience.

Here’s a pricing breakdown of both options (Quantity options are 6, 12, 30 or 60 bottles and they are priced cheaper per serving the more you purchase at a time).
