HOW DID YOU GET STARTED WITH FITNESS/BODYBUILDING?
It all started when I booked a holiday with my friends, I was only 16 at the time but straight away I knew I wanted to get a beach body! So I joined up at my local gym and started hitting the weights. At first I would do full body workouts every day with no real knowledge of form or nutrition, but hey, we all start somewhere!
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH NATURAL BODYBUILDING AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?
I don’t actually consider myself a bodybuilder, I believe to be a true bodybuilder you need to compete and that is something I have never done.
I choose the natural road for many reasons, I personally feel like it is the right choice for me, although I do not judge people who take steroids, it’s their body so it’s their choice what they put in it. If I had any objection with steroid users I wouldn’t have many friends in the gym!
WHAT’S YOUR TYPICAL WORKOUT LOOK LIKE?
I currently work with a 6 day split routine, which looks like this:
WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL DIET LIKE?
Meal 1: Boiled eggs, Fruit and Nut Muesli
Meal 2: Protein Shake
Meal 3: Steak with tomatoes
Meal 4: Protein Shake
Meal 5: Fish Pie with Broccoli
Meal 6: Mix selection of fruits: Apples, Grapes, Bananas, Pears or Apricots.
If I ever get hungry between meals I like to eat Brazil Nuts and Almonds.
IF YOU HAD TO PICK THREE EXERCISES WHAT WOULD THEY BE AND WHY?
Squats: fantastic exercise to develop the lower body, the only way to build big legs is with the squat!
Shoulder press: I love working shoulders, and this exercise really gets the blood pumping and bulges them out!
Incline barbell chest press: Currently my favourite exercise for developing the upper chest.
WHAT TYPE OF CARDIO DO YOU PREFER WHEN YOU’RE TRYING TO CUT; HIIT OR STANDARD CARDIO?
I don’t do much cardio to cut down, I play a lot of sports which keeps me physically fit but when it comes to cutting down I just focus on my diet and force my body to burn the fat. However on the occasions where I do perform the cardio it has to be HIIT, simply the best way to promote the afterburn effect.

WHAT MISTAKES DID YOU MAKE WHEN FIRST STARTING OUT? – AND ANY ADVICE FOR NEWBIES?
Almost too many mistakes to list! My form was always poor and I had no idea which body parts to train together, the best advice I can give to someone who has just started the gym is to focus on form, forget about your ego and develop mind muscle connection by taking it slow.
Don’t be intimidated to ask someone for advice, I’ve always found that if someone knows you are genuinely serious about your workouts they will be more than happy to help you.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU, WHERE DOES YOUR MOTIVATION COME FROM?
I am motivated by results, I love seeing my body develop. I am also motivated by the fear of being ordinary, I want to do great things in my life so I strive every day to try and make those dreams a reality.
WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?
Being able to help people with their fitness journey, I love giving help to those who ask for it. When people tell me that I have motivated them to change their life that makes me proud in myself, there simply is no greater feeling.
WHAT ARE YOUR SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM GOALS?
Short term goals would be to get my name out there and make myself known to as many people as possible, my long term goal is to become the most successful model/fitness model that’s ever lived and possibly one day get in to acting.
DO YOU PREFER TO STAY LEAN ALL YEAR ROUND OR DO YOU BULK AND CUT?
I stay lean all year round, I never know when another shoots going to come round the corner so I have to make sure I am in shape all the time.
