Staying fit into our fifties is no easy feat, yet bodybuilder Jay Cutler makes it look like a breeze. In his latest YouTube endeavor shared on August 26, 2024, Jay Cutler showed off his supplement stack at 51 years old and revealed when is the best time to take them during the day.

Jay Cutler is your favorite bodybuilder’s favorite bodybuilder. He put together an all-time great record of accomplishments. For starters, he was the chosen talent to dethrone Ronnie Coleman, who at the time, appeared unbeatable, thanks to his muscle-packed frame and dry-as-bone conditioning levels. But it wasn’t just their rivalry that set Cutler’s career ablaze, but his unrelenting attitude he aired anytime someone doubted his abilities.

Yes, Cutler lost his Mr. Olympia title in 2008 to Dexter Jackson, but he turned the setback into a triumph, having avenged his defeat in 2009 at the Mr. Olympia. To this day, Cutler is the only Open bodybuilder to win back the coveted Sandow trophy, and he did so with the best physique of his entire career.

Although he set his sights on retirement in 2013, bodybuilding courses through Cutler’s veins. At 51 years old, he has transformed his physique into something many 20-year-olds dream of having. Stacked with muscle tissue and still boasting serious definition in his upper and lower body, there’s no denying that Cutler’s career practices worked.

Cutler also shared what he is currently taking and showed how he keeps it all organized.

“As you know I have a crazy routine where I have a long list of supplements I take; a probiotic, I take a multivitamin, I take glucose disposal, I take all the B complex, I take Curcumin, I take D3, I take Krill Oil, which is a necessity, so you see how I have them all lined up here” Cutler shared.

“This is my hair, my Finasterides. You youngsters don’t have to worry about that as much but every morning I take those in the middle of breakfast. Now, supplements, I think are always taken best in the middle of.”

To summarize, Jay Cutler emphasized that he feels the best time to take supplements is during a meal or workout. Not before or after.

Even though Cutler set the tanning oil and bodybuilding trunks aside, his dedication to the sport is unwavering. That includes his opinions of the Men’s Open class that once served as his ultimate stomping grounds. According to Cutler, Andrew Jacked became an instant title contender for the 2024 Mr. Olympia. This sentiment was shared by many in the bodybuilding community following Jacked’s dominant Texas Pro victory.

However, the competition is overloaded with Open class threats. Aside from the Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford rivalry, mass monster Nick Walker is returning for redemption after injuries sidelined him last year. Meanwhile, Samson Dauda continues to grow and show improvements. As it stands, Cutler named his ‘three kings’ of the Open, labeling Lunsford, Dauda, and Choopan as ones to watch out for.

From technique tips and breakdowns to watching over the Open class, Cutler remains one of the most trusted and powerful voices in bodybuilding. Best of all, at 51 years old, he still gives back to his fans with guidance on supplementation and nutrition.
