Bradley Martyn’s Biography

Starting his fitness journey

Bradley Martyn started pumping iron as a teenager. He began training consistently in the gym at 15 years and never looked back since. Bradley Martyn has gained huge insight into training and nutrition. He was inspired to help others in their fitness journey, starting his fitness programs in January 2006. Bradley Martyn work ethic and passion have driven his successes in the fitness industry.

YouTube Channel

In 2014, Bradley Martyn opened his fitness YouTube channel.

This gave the exposure he always wanted to make a name for himself in the fitness industry. Through the YouTube channel, Bradley shares his training routines and ‘’full day of eating’’ vlogs with many fitness enthusiasts. Bradley has since become a fitness icon, earning global recognition. His unrivaled work ethic has helped grow his online brand. He is a social media sensation. He has earned global recognition as one of the most popular fitness gurus.

Adversities

Bradley Martyn overcame countless misfortunes before his successes in the fitness industry. When he was only six years old, Bradley’s father committed suicide. As a result, he went through depression and misery. He had to grow up without a father figure in his life. However, this eventually motivated Bradley to work harder as he had to succeed on his own. Bradley takes pride and satisfaction in inspiring others in their fitness journeys.

Training & Workout

Bradley recommends working out depending on how your body feels. The muscle guy doesn’t have a set training routine. Bradley listens to his body and may thus train 4 days on one week or train every day on the other. His workouts, therefore, depend on how he feels on a particular day. Bradley has worked on his self-discipline and work ethic to ensure year-round consistency.

In spite of not having any set training routines, Bradley has some general guidelines. The muscle guy trains in the gym for a maximum of 1 and a half hours. Bradley also sticks to an 8-12 rep range for the majority of his exercises.

Bradley Martyn does 3-5 sets of each exercise for larger muscle groups, doing around 20 sets for every muscle group. Bradley focuses mainly on the total number of reps rather than the rep range. The muscle guy usually leans towards a weight that is about 70-80% of his max.

Bradley Martyn’s typical workout splits

  • Monday – Legs/Calves
  • Tuesday – Shoulders and Tris
  • Wednesday – Chest and Bis/Calves
  • Thursday – Back
  • Friday- Rest (Or low-intensity cardio)
  • Sat – Emphasis on Tris/Back
  • Sunday – Conditioning

For conditioning, Bradley Martyn’s favorite exercises include pushing a sled, tire flips, and jumping ropes.

Nutritiоn & Diеt

Bradley Martyn practiced intermitted fasting when he was a bodybuilding competitor.

He used to stay without having any meal for 16 hours and have several large meals in the remaining 8 hours. When he stopped competing, he now prefers a more loose approach. Bradley has minimal carb intakes. However, Bradley keeps his proteins and fats intake very high. He feels that the approach is best for his body and enhances fat loss. He increases his carb intakes for bulking during muscle building phases. This helps his muscles to recover faster and boosts his energy.

Bradley Martyn’s favorite foods for building muscles include Salmon, Almond butter, Greek yogurt and Quinoa.

Bradley Martyn has made fitness his career. Many people have influenced his fitness journey. This includes his friends, fans, and other competitors, who have inspired him to train harder in the gym and realize his full potential. However, his mother and his close friend Brandon Gerdes have provided unrivaled support since he started his fitness lifestyle.

Bradley Martin has been through hell and back. His father committed suicide when he was still a kid. It was difficult for Bradley to deal with the tragedy and this affected his whole childhood. However, he was strong-minded and didn’t dwell on the past difficult moments. Bradley instead focused on building a strong character and working hard in his career. Bradley Martyn is proof that you can overcome adversities to achieve the life you always wanted.
