Mamdouh Elssbiay “Big Ramy” (born September 16, 1984) is an Egyptian IFBB professional bodybuilder who currently resides in Kuwait. At the 2015 Mr. Olympia, he broke the record of the heaviest bodybuilder to compete in the prestigious event, weighing in at 316 lbs.
Big Ramy won his pro card by winning the overall title at the 2012 Amateur Olympia in Kuwait City, just three years after he started training. In 2010, Big Ramy joined Oxygen Gym in Kuwait. By 2011, he weighed 200 lbs; when he stepped on the 2012 Amateur Olympia stage, he weighed in at 286 lbs and was declared the champion.
In 2013, Elssbiay made his IFBB Pro debut at the New York Pro, where he won.
