August 6th marked the highly anticipated culmination of the 2023 CrossFit Games, a day eagerly awaited by both athletes and fans alike. The tension built up over the first three days of competition, but the fourth day was the one that mattered since it crowned the new Fittest Man / Woman / Team On Earth for 2023.
Although Roman Khrennikov had an incredible first two days, building up a 100+ point lead, Jeffrey Adler overtook him on the final day and became the 2023 CrossFit Games Champion in the men’s division. This comes as a cherry on top for his 2023 season, as he won every stage apart from the Quarterfinals.
After years of falling short of the title and settling for other podium finishes, Laura Horvath has finally claimed the crown of Fittest Woman On Earth. She was pressured by the 18-year-old Emma Lawson, but Laura’s experience proved to be the winning edge she needed.
