Event One — Log Lift

For the first event of the competition, the athletes had to perform as many repetitions as possible on the Log Lift. They had the freedom of choosing one of two Logs. However, even just one rep with the heavier Log would beat any number of reps with the lighter one.

Men’s Weight: 163-kg (359.4-lb) or 136-kg (299.8-lb)
Women’s Weight: 102-kg (225-lb) or 84-kg (185.2-lb)

Men

Lucas Hatton is known for his overhead pressing prowess, but he encountered another prodigy at the 2024 America’s Strongest Man, Tim Buck. The two men ended up in an epic battle at the first event of the competition, ultimately having to share the points for first place with six reps each.

  • Lucas Hatton — 6 reps at 163-kg
  • Tim Buck — 6 reps at 163-kg
  • Zach Price — 5 reps at 163-kg
  • Kevin Faires — 4 reps at 163-kg
  • Brett Thompson — 4 reps at 163-kg
  • Andrew Burton — 3 reps at 163-kg
  • Trevor Ucker — 3 reps at 163-kg
  • Justin Legere — 3 reps at 163-kg
  • Josh Hatfield — 2 reps at 163-kg
  • Levi Strong — 3 reps at 136-kg

Women

The women’s division ended up with a similar situation to the men’s, as Olga Liashchuk and Nadia Stowers both locked out five repetitions with the Log. So, they tied for first-place and shared the points.

  • Olga Liashchuk — 5 reps at 102-kg
  • Nadia Stowers — 5 reps at 102-kg
  • Erin Murray — 1 rep at 102-kg
  • Leilani Brown — 3 reps at 84-kg
  • Rebekah Strong — 3 reps at 84-kg

Event Two — Super Yoke

For the second event of the 2024 America’s Strongest Man & Woman, the athletes took on the Super Yoke. In turn, they had to carry a massive implement for a distance of 24 meters. Event Three — Shield Carry

Moving onto the third event of the 2024 America’s Strongest Man & Woman competition, the competitors faced a pain-inducing event.
