The 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals took place from April 3-22 in an online format. However, it took a few days to wrap up the video reviews of the performances. So, the leaderboards have officially been locked and finalized on April 29th. So, the full results for both the Individual and Teams divisions have been revealed.

Similar to previous years, the 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals competitors had to perform multiple workouts and film the entire process. Well, when it comes to the Individual division, this process resulted in a shocking number of penalties. This is important because a few notable athletes were on the receiving end of these penalties, including Tia-Clair Toomey and Nick Matthew. This shook up the leaderboards massively, even causing Nick Matthew to fail to qualify for the Semifinals.

Jonne Koski

Jonne Koski was the most dominant athlete in the men’s division, having finished the 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals with a mind-blowing score of 54 points. He held a humongous lead throughout the first three events, never allowing his first place finish to be put in danger.

The only workout in which Jonne Koski dropped a few points was the final one, where he finished in 30th place. On the other hand, the reigning Fittest Man On Earth, Jeffrey Adler, won that workout, which allowed him to get closer to Jonne. However, Jeffrey was still 12 points behind Koski, and thus had to settle for second place.

Moreover, to make things even more impressive, Jonne Koski also won the 2024 CrossFit Open. So, he remains unbeaten in the ongoing season, having topped the leaderboards in both stages that have taken place so far.

Considering Jonne Koski’s streak of great results, and the fact that he is a 9x CrossFit Games competitor, this is looking like his most promising season yet.

  • First Workout: 11th-Place
  • Second Workout: 3rd-Place
  • Third Workout: 10th-Place
  • Fourth Workout: 30th-Place

Emma Lawson

The women’s division of the 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals was undoubtedly the most interesting one of them all. In fact, the battle for first place came down to just seven points between three athletes.

In the end, Emma Lawson was the one who topped the leaderboards with a score of 44 points. She Opened up the competition with a 10th-place finish on the first event, but asserted her dominance on the second and third workouts. Similar to Koski, Emma’s worst placement came during the fourth and final workout, which nearly cost her first place.

Impressively, Emma Lawson managed to win the 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals at the age of just 18-years-old. However, she is no newcomer to the scene, as she has already taken part in two Open age class CrossFit Games, and won the 2021 CrossFit Games in the 16-17 years old division.

  • First Workout: 10th-Place
  • Second Workout: 2nd-Place
  • Third Workout: 6th-Place
  • Fourth Workout: 26-th-Place

Peak 360 CrossFit

Peak 360 CrossFit easily won the 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals in the Teams division, which was no surprise considering how strong of a roster they have. It consisted of Noah Ohlsen, Tola Morakinyo, Lena Richter, Matilde Garnes, Maria Jose Vargas, and Henrik Negard.

Team Peak 360 CrossFit finished their 2024 CrossFit Quarterfinals campaign with just seven points, which means that they never placed lower than third. The closest to them was the well-known team CrossFit Invictus, who finished with a score of 23.

Team Peak 360 CrossFit also placed first in the 2024 CrossFit Open in their division. So, despite it being the first year that the team has gathered under this roster, they are looking like one of the favorites to win it all.

  • First Workout: 1st-Place
  • Second Workout: 3rd-Place
  • Third Workout: 1st-Place
  • Fourth Workout: 2nd-Place

The next stage of the season, the 2024 CrossFit Semifinals, will be separated into multiple regions. So, the athletes qualify for their respective regional Semifinal on the basis of their Quarterfinals results. Each of the regional Semifinals will feature only the 40 men, 40 women, and 30 Teams that performed best in the quarterfinals.
