The 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit competition took place on November 8-10 in Aberdeen, Scotland. It featured a total of 20 athletes in both the men’s and women’s divisions, all of whom had earned their invite due to being some of the fittest people on earth. After three days of competition, the winners turned out to be Jeffrey Adler and Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr.
Jeffrey Adler picked up the lead on day one but was followed closely by Ricky Garard. However, his lead only continued to increase on day two, giving him confidence going into the final day. Moreover, the start of day three saw Garard drop a lot of points, practically confirming that Jeffrey Adler was the new 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit champion.
Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr had the best start to a competition ever seen in the history of the Rogue Invitational. She won four events in a row, indicating that she came to reclaim her title. Laura Horvath then bounced back, also winning four events in a row and slowly inching closer to Tia-Clair. However, the 7x Fittest Woman on Earth remained calm under pressure, wrapping up her performance with another event win and taking the title.

Garard needed 15 minutes and 20 seconds to complete the event, taking his second win of the competition.
Dallin Pepper and Jeffrey Adler got into a photo finish behind Ricky Garard and were separated by just 0.3 seconds. Dallin won the duel, catching up and overtaking Adler during the final portion on the rowing machine. So, the overall leader had to settle for third place at the start of day two.

Women’s Results
One of the biggest separators on the first event of day two for the women were the Log Muscle Ups. It meant that the athletes had to perform the muscle ups on a wooden beam, which is significantly girthier than the usual bar. So, while the race was tight through the 1,000-meter row and the 30 thrusters, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr’s technical abilities allowed her to get through the muscle ups much quicker than anyone else. She ended up keeping the lead until the end, finishing with a time of 14 minutes and 25 seconds to win the fourth consecutive event.
This event looked like it could be Laura Horvath’s forte, due to her prowess on the rowing machine and the thrusters. However, the muscle ups prevented her from challenging Tia-Clair. Luckily for Laura, she still managed to beat everyone else to take second place. Arielle Loewen burst into the top three following an incredible performance on the back half of the event.
- Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr — 14:25.34
- Laura Horvath — 15:14.43

Men’s Results
Going into day two, Jayson Hopper boldly claimed that he would thrive on the Devil’s Tail event. Well, he stood true to his word, starting off strong and finishing even stronger to take the event win. His time came out to 6:39, which placed him ahead of a few elite athletes who were on his heels the entire time.
Jeffrey Adler continued proving that consistency is key, taking second place behind Hopper, but extending his lead over his closest rivals. Ricky Garard was hopping to beat Adler and cut his lead down by a few points but crossed the finish line four seconds after the Canadian, thus having to settle for third place.

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr was trying hard to maintain her perfect streak but ended up finishing 14 seconds behind Laura Horvath. Women’s Results
The incredible Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr continued extending her lead, once again not letting anyone even challenge her. Her time came out to 5:29.37, and it is safe to say that it could have been even faster. However, since no one was able to put pressure on Tia-Clair, she ended up relatively casually performing the Shuttle Sprints. This marked her second event win of the 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit and her 14th career event win at this competition.
Grabriela Migala and Laura Horvath were trying to catch up with Tia-Clair but ended up in a battle for second place between themselves. They finished the squat snatches at the exact same time, but Migala proved the be the faster runner, beating out Laura Horvath by three seconds.

Men’s Results
The final event of day one at the 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit perfectly suited Jeffrey Adler’s set of skills. The 2023 Fittest Man On Earth crushed the wall walk complex and continued building up his lead in every round. At one point he seemed surprised to be so far ahead of everyone else, but still decided not to slow down. Adler’s final time came out to 5:51.08, nearly 40 seconds ahead of the next best man.
Justin Medeiros held a comfortable second place throughout the event, but missing a rep on his final set of back squats almost cost him a spot. Luckily for him, he crossed the line in 06:28.15, beating Guilherme Malheiros by just 0.7 seconds.
