As expected, Hafthor Bjornsson won the deadlift event without much trouble. It might not seem that way since he performed just one rep more than the second place finisher, but he seemed capable of doing a couple more if he had needed to. However, 12 reps proved to be the magic number.

Many Strongman fans were happy to see Hafthor Bjornsson stand on top of the leaderboards in the Log Lift event, as he has been struggling with his overhead pressing due to the infamous pec tear. However, he had to share his first place with Evans Nana, as both of them locked out eight reps.

Hafthor Bjornsson found himself on top of the leaderboards for the fourth consecutive event. This one was a bit more difficult for him though, as he was involved in a tight race between multiple athletes. However, Hafthor’s time of 21.66 seconds trumped all others.
