Event Overview

Day One

The first event of the 2025 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic is a familiar one, as it has been a staple throughout many years that the competition has been taking place. Obviously, we are talking about the Elephant Bar Deadlift for Max Weight. The athletes are usually not allowed to use deadlift suits or briefs.

The second event will be the Overhead Gauntlet. In this event, the athletes will have the task of overhead pressing three implements: a stone, a dumbbell, and a log lift. So, it is primarily a test of upper body strength.

Frame Carry will be coming back to the 2025 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic. As seen in previous years, the competitors will have to pick up a huge wooden frame and carry it for a given distance. They are, however, not allowed to use lifting straps, meaning that the grip strength could be key.

Day Two

The Big Jerk for Max Weight will be the opening event for day two of the 2025 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic. The event will task the athletes with pressing as much weight as possible over their heads using a regular bar. However, they will not be required to clean the bar off the floor but will instead be able to immediately start with the bar on shoulder level.

The second-to-last event of the competition will be the Timber Test. It is a brand-new concept of an event, which is why not a lot of details are available at this point. It is set to feature Log implements, which the athletes will have to carry, load, and pull. Ultimately, the winner will depend on the weight of the implements.

Finally, the athletes will take on the Atlas Stone to Shoulder to wrap up the competition. The athletes will have to lift an Atlas stone up to their shoulder for as many reps as possible. The weight of the stone is unknown, but this type of an event has been seen in other Strongman shows in the past as well.

Now that the events have been revealed, the athletes know what they need to work on. They do not have too much time, though, as the 2025 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic will take place in less than two months. However, considering how stacked the lineups are, the competition is guaranteed to be an entertaining experience for fans from all around the world.
