Event Two — Shield Carry

The action continued with the Shield Carry event. It featured a shield-shaped implement that the athletes had to pick up and carry for the longest distance possible without dropping it. The weight of the shield came out to a whopping 130 kilograms (286.6 pounds).

Naomi Hadley’s endurance and ability to withstand pain and exhaustion brought her the event win in the Shield Carry. She crossed a distance of 60 meters without letting go of the shield, beating all of her rivals by a rather significant margin.

Lucy Underdown finished in second place once again, pushing herself to the absolute limits and reaching 52.32 meters. In fact, Lucy nearly collapsed before dropping the shield, proving that she completely emptied her tank. It paid off, as she beat the third-place Gemma Moore by just 0.04 meters.

Event Three — Super Yoke

The midpoint of the 2025 Britain’s Strongest Woman competition was marked by the Super Yoke event. In order to complete it, the athletes had to pick up the rig and carry it for a distance of 20 meters. The Super Yoke weighed 280 kilograms (617.3 pounds). However, it was a timed event, meaning that the aim was to finish in the quickest time possible.

No one was as quick as Rebecca Roberts, who practically sprinted despite carrying 280 kilograms (617.3 pounds) on her shoulders. She focused on maintaining a quick step frequency and maintaining the pace throughout the entire course. So, she crossed the finish line in just 10.90 seconds.

Event Four — Log Lift

The second-to-last event of the 2025 Britain’s Strongest Woman was the Log Lift. The format of the event focused on the number of repetitions, prompting the athletes to continue lifting a 90-kilogram (198.4-pound) log for as many reps as possible.

Andrea Thompson has been one of the world’s greatest overhead pressers throughout the majority of her career. So, she was glad to demonstrate her upper body strength once again at the Britain’s Strongest Woman competition. She completed 8 repetitions to take the event win and 12 points.

Annabelle Chapman secured her highest event finish of the entire competition during the Log Lift. She completed seven reps to beat some notable Strongwoman athletes. With one rep less than Annabelle, Lucy secured another top three finish and continued marching toward the title.
