Derrick Lewis win with an epic comeback KO at UFC 229

Before Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov fight at the UFC 229, the two top heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Alexander Volkov square off in an epic battle at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The fight starts with a 30 second feeling out period befor both guys really engage. Derrick who was suffering an apparent left orbital bone injury early on landed one of his trademark epic right hands in the fight’s closing seconds and followed Alexander up on the ground to finish him… just 11 seconds remaining in the final round.

After 3 rounds, Derrick Lewis defeats Alexander Volkov via KO at 4:49!

With this win “The Black Beast” Derrick Lewis continued his push toward the heavyweight title shot. This was Derrick’s 9th victory in his last 10 fights. “The Black Beast” may not be next in line for the belt, but he’s certainly close now.
