Joey Swoll is never afraid to combat negativity in the gym, no matter who he is going up against. In a recent Instagram video, Joey Swoll called out WWE stars Grayson Waller and Austin Theory for being rude to other gymgoers while they were filming. After Theory responded disrespectfully, Swoll made another video promising to meet them at Wrestlemania.
Joey Swoll is a bodybuilder and fitness influencer who has become known for his mission to transform gyms into more welcoming environments for people from all walks of life. As the CEO of Gym Positivity, Swoll has already made a difference in countless fitness centers, driving out ‘toxic gym culture.’
Joey Swoll Slams WWE Stars for Poor Gym Etiquette, Promises to See Them at Wrestlemania
With four million followers on Instagram alone, Joey Swoll is constantly calling out people who act inappropriately or disrespectfully while others are working out. Recently, Swoll condemned WWE stars Grayson Waller and Austin Theory for making incredibly rude and unnecessary comments to a man who walked in front of their camera.
“Wow, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. What, you think that just because you’re a couple of WWE superstars that you get to treat people this way? That just because you’re filming, everybody else has to stop what they’re doing just for you? I’m sorry, you don’t own the gym and I don’t really care who you are.”
Swoll tried to speak out to these two ‘superstars’ only to be met with a vulgar retort, prompting him to take action.
“I’ve tried to say this on your post, Austin’s response is that he is going to smack the you-know-what out of me. Listen here little man, you don’t want this smoke. Not from me and not from my Swoll army.”

“If you ask me, you should be a little more concerned about training those little legs than talking smack but if you wanna keep running your mouth I’m happy to end your career, not just on social media but in the ring. WWE make it happen and to you Mr. Austin ‘Chicken Legs’ Theory you need to do better. Mind your own business.”
If you think that was the end of it, you’d be wrong because Joey Swoll took to Instagram again to address the responses of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
“So, Grayson and Austin responded to my video, you can see the videos on their page, and I have to give it to them, their videos were pretty good. Pretty good and terrible. Very unoriginal but I will give it to Austin, he’s a businessman. He saw an opportunity. I was driving millions and millions of people to his page, something he could never do, so he decided to try and sell one of his t-shirts to make some money. Good for you” said Joey Swoll.
“Then I thought, I’m a good guy, I’m a businessman, let me help Austin make a bag because when I’m done ending your career you’re gonna need it. So what would be perfect to sell so all your fans could be just like you? Chicken leg socks, the perfect idea!”
Not only is Joey Swoll a great businessman, but he is also beloved in the fitness community, including the WWE world. Even though he could get help from his friends ‘The Rock’ and CM Punk, Swoll opted to face these two on his own at Wrestlemania where he intends to strike fear into Waller and Theory with a squat rack.
“Then everyone asked me, Joey, who’s gonna be your tag team partner to take on these two? As if I need a partner to handle these two fools, but I thought should I get my boy CM Punk? Should I get my guy The Rock? Nah, what do these two more afraid of more than anything in this entire world? So this is what I’m bringing to Wrestle Mania. The squat rack. Y’all better watch your back. I’ll see you at Wrestle Mania.”
With the gym positivity movement spreading like wildfire, Swoll’s efforts have caught the attention of some heavy hitters in the bodybuilding world. As a result of his continued fight for better gym environments, Swoll received praise from former seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Fans hope to see how this story ends between Swoll, Grayson Waller, and Austin Theory. If things go according to Swoll’s plan, he will see them at Wrestlemania with his squat rack in tow this weekend.
