The 2026 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Holland took place on June 21st in Winterswijk, Netherlands. It gathered a dozen incredible athletes from all around the globe and put them through five tests of strength. At the end of the day, Luke Richardson was the one who accumulated the most points and took home the trophy.

Luke Richardson had an incredible day in the Netherlands, having achieved a top three finish in four out of five events. As a result of his consistent performance, Luke ended up with a total of 52 points. However, it is also important to note that Adam Roszkowski also put up a great performance and gathered just 1.5 fewer points than Luke.

Event One — Truck Pull

The 2026 Strongman Champions League Holland kicked off with the Truck Pull. As the name suggests, the athletes had to pull an 18,000-kilogram (39,683.2-pound) vehicle for a distance of 25 meters. The goal was to get the vehicle over the line in the shortest time possible.

Jesper Hansson from Sweden ranked first in the opening event of the competition. He finished the task in 26.53 seconds, which proved to be just enough to beat everyone. Kevin Hazeleger’s final time was just 0.38 seconds slower than Hansson’s, which goes to show how intense their battle was.

A similar situation occurred between Mika Törrö and Evans Nana Aryee, as a fraction of a second separated the two. Mika ended up ranking above Evans, beating him by 0.49 seconds.

Event Two — Dumbbell Press

The second challenge of the 2026 Strongman Champions League Holland was the Dumbbell Press. It was a straightforward format, as the athletes faced a 90-kilogram (198.4-pound) dumbbell, which they had to lift and overhead press for as many repetitions as possible. However, they were under a time constraint, as they had only 75 seconds to put up the best score possible.

Luke Richardson did not wait long to get his first event win, as his incredible display of overhead pressing power allowed him to beat everyone. Luke maintained a steady pace and showcased remarkable endurance, ending with a total of nine repetitions.

Evans Nana Aryee and Adam Roszkowski tied for second place, as both of them achieved eight repetitions. There was no tiebreaker in place, which meant that they had to share the points.

Event Three — Sandbag Toss

Moving on to the third event of the competition, the competitors took on a more dynamic challenge. Specifically, they had the task of picking up and tossing six sandbags over a beam that was set to a height of 4.3 meters. The weight of the sandbags ranged from 20 kilograms (44.1 pounds) to 30 kilograms (66.1 pounds).

Adam Roszkowski was by far the quickest man in the Sandbag Toss, utilizing his speed, agility, and power to achieve a mind-blowing time of 14.55 seconds. He was three seconds faster than his closest rival and one of only a few men who finished the entire event.

Luke Richardson continued his charge toward the title with a second-place finish in the Sandbag Toss. He completed the event in a time of 17.55 seconds. Brian Kichton rounded out the top three, tossing all six bags in 18.68 seconds.

Event Four — Frame Carry

The penultimate event of the 2026 Strongman Champions League Holland was the Frame Carry. It was the ultimate test of grip strength and speed, since the athletes had to pick up a 300-kilogram (661.4-pound) implement and carry it for maximum distance within the 60-second time cap.

Following a ninth-place finish in the third event, Evans Nana Aryee managed to bounce back and claim the win in the Frame Carry. He was the only man to reach and exceed the 70-meter milestone, which made him the clear winner.

Jesper Hansson found himself inside the top three once again, occupying second place with a distance of 69.4 meters. With just two meters less than him, Luke Richardson managed to claim third place

Event Five — Atlas Stones

The final event of the 2026 Strongman Champions League Holland was arguably the most iconic challenge in Strongman — the Atlas Stones. In this instance, it consisted of five implements ranging in weight from 120-kg (264.6-lb) to 200-kg (440.9-lb). All of them had to be picked off the floor and placed onto the platform. The goal was to finish the event in the shortest time possible.

Adam Roszkowski gave it his all to secure an event win in the final moments of the competition. He ended up loading all five stones in 31.90 seconds, which was the quickest time out of all 12 men.

Seeing that Adam Roszkowski was gunning for the title, Luke Richardson had to put in a good performance in order to hold on to his first place overall. Luckily for him, he managed to place second on the Atlas Stones, which gave him the overall win as well.
