The 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic took place on July 4th in London, England, and brought together some of the greatest Strongman athletes from all around the world, including three WSM champions. The competition consisted of five events, each aiming to test the athletes’ strength in its own way. In the end, Ondřej Fojtů proved to be the most consistent performer and walked away with the title.
Ondřej Fojtů kicked off the competition with two event wins, which put him on track to claim the title. From there, he made sure to defend his lead and never placed lower than fifth place across any of the remaining three events. Ondřej finished the competition with 50.5 points, which gave him a comfortable win.

Event One — Overhead Medley
The athletes came into the first event fresh and full of energy, but they immediately faced a grueling Overhead Medley event. It featured five separate implements: 100-kg (220.5-lb) dumbbell, 150-kg (330.7-lb) circus bell, 110-kg (242.5-lb) dumbbell, 150-kg (330.7-lb) circus bell, and 120-kg (264.6-lb) dumbbell for reps. The time limit was set to 60 seconds.
Ondřej Fojtů and Pavlo Kordiyaka were the only two men who managed to complete all five implements. The Czech Strongman, however, was the faster of the two, finishing the event in 41.87 seconds. As such, Ondřej had the perfect start to the competition, putting himself in the leading position ahead of some incredible athletes.
Pavlo Kordiyaka ranked second in the Overhead Medley since he was nine seconds slower than Fojtů. Evan Singleton was the next best man, as he was the quickest out of six men who locked out four repetitions. He did so in a time of 33.5 seconds, beating Andrew Flynn and Mitchell Hooper by just two seconds.

Event Two — Webster Stones
The second event was all about pain endurance and grip strength, with the athletes having to carry the Webster Stones for the maximum distance possible. The two stones weighed 136 kilograms (299.8 pounds) and 113 kilograms (249.1 pounds), respectively. The athletes were allowed one drop, while the second drop marked the end of their performance.
Ondřej Fojtů claimed his second consecutive victory at the start of the 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic. He made easy work of the stones, managing to balance them out with ease despite their uneven weight. His final score came out to 43.4 meters, which was more than enough to beat everyone.
The 2025 World’s Strongest Man, Rayno Nel, placed second in the Webster Stones. He is known for his incredible performances in any kind of moving events, and this was no different. He dropped the stones at the 40.4-meter mark. On the other hand, Pavlo Kordiyaka and Mitchell Hooper tied for third place, as both of them finished their performance at exactly 40 meters.

Event Three — Deadlift
The deadlift marked the midway point of the 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic. Specifically, the athletes had to take on a 360-kilogram (793.7-pound) deadlift for as many repetitions as possible. Moreover, they used an Axle bar, which is thicker and stiffer than the usual one, making the movement even more difficult. The time limit was set to 50 seconds.
The competition featured a very good group of deadlifters, which made the event even more interesting. Among them, Rayno Nel and Paddy Haynes stood out, as both of them locked out nine repetitions. As a result, they tied for first place.
Ondřej Fojtů and Martins Licis shared the third place, with each man lifting the bar for seven repetitions. On the other hand, Evan Singleton and Mitchell Hooper did not get a single rep on the board. Both Singleton and Hooper decided to withdraw.

Event Four — Conan’s Wheel
The penultimate challenge of the 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic was the Conan’s Wheel, which is recognized as one of the most pain-inducing events in the sport. The apparatus consists of a beam attached to a central pivot point, requiring the athletes to cradle it in their forearms and complete as many revolutions as possible.. It weighed a total of 200 kilograms (440.9 pounds) and was measured in degrees.
Paddy Haynes walked away with an event win and a brand new record on this setup. He managed to cover 1,106 degrees. This also helped Paddy move up the leaderboard and was a massive step toward a podium finish.
Pavlo Kordiyaka was pretty comfortable in second place with a score of 877 degrees. He was far ahead of everyone behind him but was also not within reach of Paddy Haynes. Andrew Flynn rounded out the top three with 770 degrees.

Event Five — Atlas Stones
The Atlas Stones were the final event of the 2026 Giants Live Strongman Classic. The setup consisted of five stones, ranging in weight from 120 kilograms (264.6 pounds) to 200 kilograms (440.9 pounds). The goal was to pick up the stones and load them onto their respective platforms.
Despite being one of the lightest professional Strongmen in the world, Paddy Haynes was the quickest man to lift all five stones. He did so in a time of 22.21 seconds, beating Martins Licis by a margin of just 0.07 seconds. So, it is clear that it was one of the most intense Atlas Stone duels in recent years.
Rayno Nel placed third, finishing the event two seconds after Haynes and Licis. On the other hand, Ondřej Fojtů loaded his final stone another four seconds later, with which he officially claimed the title.
