The PACEARTH wooden gymnastics rings make sense if you want a 32 mm grip and cam-buckle adjustment for home training. The main reason to choose this set is the combination of wooden rings, long marked straps, and adjustment between marked positions. Check the version before ordering: PACEARTH also sells thinner rings and a separate carabiner system under similar names.

Our verdict: Consider the 32 mm cam-buckle set if you already like that grip thickness and have an appropriate training location. Choose a thinner ring if you struggle to close your hands around a larger grip. Compare a numbered-loop system if you change ring height throughout your workouts.

How We Evaluated These Rings

This is a research-based review of PACEARTH’s specifications, the selected Amazon configuration, and published equipment instructions and exercise research, checked September 7, 2026. We did not train on these rings, measure their finish, or load-test the straps and buckles. We cannot score their long-term durability or confirm how they will feel in your hands.

Our recommendation concerns the 32 mm wooden rings with 14.76-foot cam-buckle straps, ASIN B07CGCD7JH. The shared Amazon title includes 1500/1000-pound and 14.76/9-foot descriptions. Those numbers cover different configurations; they are not interchangeable specifications for this set.

PACEARTH 32 mm Wooden Gymnastics Rings

3.8/5

A wood-ring set for buyers who prefer a thicker grip and continuously adjustable straps, with load capacity that remains a manufacturer claim.

Pros

  • 32 mm birch-wood rings
  • Marked 14.76-foot straps
  • Cam buckles allow adjustment between markings

Cons

  • 32 mm grip may feel too large for some hands
  • Cam-buckle threading requires attention
  • Published inside-diameter figures conflict

The Specifications That Matter

PACEARTH’s dedicated 32 mm product page identifies birch wood, approximately 1.5-inch-wide straps, and serrated cam buckles. The kit includes two rings, two buckle-and-strap assemblies, and two rolls of blue hand tape. Touch fasteners help gather excess webbing.

Item Published specification Buying implication
Grip thickness 32 mm, about 1.26 inches Choose this version for its grip size, not its larger load claim.
Strap length 14.76 feet / 4.5 meters each Total webbing length does not equal usable hanging distance.
Adjustment Cam buckle; marked straps You can choose positions between the printed marks.
Advertised capacity Up to 1,500 pounds We did not verify the test method or a safe working-load limit.
Included tape Two rolls PACEARTH describes the tape as a consumable.

One specification needs clarification. PACEARTH’s product copy lists a 7.04-inch inside diameter, while its Amazon comparison table gives 6.73 inches for the 32 mm rings. We have not measured a sample to resolve that conflict. If the opening matters for a particular use, request a confirmed dimension from PACEARTH before buying.

32 mm Versus 28 mm: Choose for Your Hands

The 32 mm measurement describes the thickness of the wood you hold, not the diameter of the whole ring. Compared with a 28 mm grip, a 32 mm circular grip has about 14% more circumference. That calculation follows from the stated diameters; it is not a measurement of these rings or a prediction of grip strength.

You have more material to wrap your fingers around. If you know you prefer a thicker pull-up grip, the 32 mm version deserves consideration. If you struggle to maintain your hold on thicker handles, buying a 28 mm set may suit you better. We would not choose the larger version because PACEARTH attaches a larger capacity number to it.

For comparison, Rogue sells wood rings in two grip sizes and describes its thinner option as a choice for smaller hands. That supports treating thickness as a fit decision. It does not establish a universal hand-size cutoff or prove that one diameter will improve your training more than the other.

The included tape gives you another surface option, but wrapping a ring also adds thickness. Tape cannot make an oversized grip smaller. PACEARTH says you can use the rings with or without its tape and that replacement depends on use. We have no hands-on evidence to judge the adhesive, sweat absorption, or how often you would need another roll.

Cam Buckles Versus Numbered Loops

With this PACEARTH set, the cam buckle grips the webbing at your chosen position. The marks help you compare strap settings; they do not lock the rings at those marks. You can make a small height correction without moving to the next predetermined loop.

A numbered-loop system uses stitched attachment positions and carabiners. You select a position rather than feed webbing through a cam buckle for each change. That may be more convenient when you alternate between low-ring and high-ring exercises, although we did not time either system.

PACEARTH’s separate 32 mm carabiner set uses 9-foot double-layer numbered straps. Do not transfer that strap length, its door anchor, or its foot straps to the kit reviewed here. Nor should you assume that a carabiner alone makes a system stronger or safer. The complete assembly, its intended use, and the manufacturer’s instructions matter.

I would favor cam buckles when small adjustments matter more than moving between repeatable loop positions. For a shared training space where users change heights often, I would compare loop-based kits in our gymnastics rings buying guide before ordering.

A 14.76-Foot Strap Is Not a 14.76-Foot Drop

PACEARTH gives the length of each strap, but that does not define a fixed anchor-to-ring distance. During installation, you use some of that webbing around the support and ring and through the buckle, with whatever tail the manufacturer’s instructions require. You cannot equate the advertised length with the height of an overhead support.

The configured distance depends on the support’s dimensions and the approved routing. We have not verified a PACEARTH manual that specifies the usable drop or required tail length, so we will not supply a conversion or threading diagram. For a high mounting location, ask PACEARTH to confirm whether this set can reach your required ring position.

The markings also cannot tell you whether the rings finish level in every location. Different support heights or dimensions can produce different ring heights from matching marks. Use the scale as a setup reference and check the finished arrangement against the supplied instructions.

The 1,500-Pound Claim Has Limits

PACEARTH advertises a capacity of up to 1,500 pounds for this 32 mm set. The pages we reviewed do not establish whether that figure describes a breaking test, a working-load limit, one component, or the complete installed system. We did not verify independent testing or a dynamic-load allowance.

That number cannot establish the capacity of a ceiling attachment, exercise frame, or other support. It also does not authorize added weights, swinging movements, or inversion in a particular installation. Obtain the correct instructions for your exact kit and confirmation that your chosen support suits the intended activity before using it.

Rogue’s published strap safety guidance illustrates the maintenance questions buyers should ask: it calls for checks of stitching, webbing, and buckle condition and addresses static and dynamic anchor loads.1 Rogue also publishes separate ring assembly instructions.2 Those documents concern Rogue equipment; they do not certify PACEARTH’s parts or replace its instructions.

We would value comparable PACEARTH documentation more than a higher headline capacity. The research gap does not prove that these rings are defective. It prevents us from turning a sales claim into a safety guarantee.

The Training Use Case

PACEARTH lists rows, pull-ups, dips, and push-ups among the intended exercises. For programming ideas, our gymnastic rings exercise guide covers the movements, while our ring push-up guide focuses on one pressing variation. Exercise instructions do not replace equipment installation instructions.

Buy rings because you want to train those movements, not because unstable exercise guarantees more muscle. In a study of 29 young men, researchers found that different suspension systems changed which muscles showed greater activation during push-ups; more stable conditions favored some chest and shoulder measures.3 The researchers did not test these PACEARTH rings or measure long-term muscle growth.

If your main aim is dips on fixed handles, compare dip bars and dip stations as well. With rings, controlling the moving handles forms part of the exercise. A fixed station may better match the workout you intended to do.

Bottom Line

The PACEARTH 32 mm cam-buckle set is worth considering for its grip size, marked straps, and fine height adjustment. Confirm that you want this configuration before checkout, and obtain the exact installation and care instructions before training. We would choose between the 28 mm, 32 mm, and carabiner versions on fit and adjustment preference, with the advertised load figure remaining an unverified manufacturer claim.
