UFC Minneapolis went down last night (Saturday, June 29, 2019) from inside Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event was headlined by a great 265-pound match between the Cameroonian KO specialist Francis Ngannou and the former UFC Heavyweight king Junior dos Santos. Herb Dean was the referee.
Fighters touched gloves. During the first minute, we saw a few great low kicks on both sides. Yet, dos Santos made a big mistake when he missed Francis with a right hand. Ngannou countered with punch combo, and his right hand landed behind dos Santos’ ear and sent him to the canvas.
The Brazilian turtled, but he was clearly out. Ngannou landed few punches on the ground before Herb Dean stepped in. What a lightning-fast win by Francis Ngannou! Mike Tyson style KO!!!
Final Result: Francis Ngannou defeats Junior dos Santos via KO (1:11, round 1)
