As such, Pepper will look to beat his rivals at the 2026 CrossFit Open Workout 26.1 announcement.
Colten Mertens won last year’s CrossFit Open, having placed first in two out of three workouts. He will look to replicate his success this year as well, and what better way to do it than at a live announcement of Workout 26.1.
Austin Hatfield has been one of the quickest-rising athletes in the CrossFit space in the previous years. He made his first appearance at the CrossFit Games in 2024 but quickly proved that he is aiming for the top spots.
