The 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit was one of the biggest competitions of the season, taking place from November 8-10, at a new venue in Aberdeen, Scotland. It spread over three days, featuring nine events in total. In the end, the fittest in their respective division turned out to be Jeffrey Adler and Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr.
Jeffrey Adler’s Performance Overview
Jeffrey Adler’s performance at the 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit was proof that consistency is key to winning competitions. He truly doesn’t seem to have any prominent weaknesses. In turn, there was not a single event where he dropped a significant amount of points, which cannot be said for any other athlete in the men’s division.
- Quick Sand: Second-place
- North Sea Tiger: Fifth-place
- Braveheart: First-place
- Hunting Haggis: Third-place
- Devil’s Tail: Second-place
- The Duel IV: Ninth-place
- Gondola: Fifth-place
- Tight Rope: Eighth-place
- The Excavator: Fourth-place
Jeffrey Adler’s first day of competition started very well, as he finished the first event in second place, being overtaken by Ricky Garard in the final seconds of the race. He went on to record a fifth place finish in second event, and won the closing workout of the day, securing a massive lead going into day two.
The second day saw Jeffrey Adler continue placing in the top three in two of the events and recording his “worst” result on the sixth event, which was a ninth place. At this point, it was already highly unlikely that anybody would overtake him, as he had a massive lead already.
With Ricky Garard dropping a lot of points on the final day, Jeffrey Adler’s path to victory became even more comfortable. He still continued on putting up consistent performances, finishing in second on both the 7th and 8th workouts. Finally, with a fourth-place finish in the final event, Jeffrey Adler officially became the 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit Champion.

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr’s Performance Overview
Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr is the winningest athlete in the history of the Rogue Invitational, coming in with three titles and securing her fourth this year. However, the last title that Tia-Clair won came in 2021, since she missed the 2022 competition due to pregnancy and ended up losing to Laura Horvath in 2023.
- Quick Sand: First-place
- North Sea Tiger: First-place
- Braveheart: First-place
- Hunting Haggis: First-place
- Devil’s Tail: Second-place
- The Duel IV: Eighth-place
- Gondola: Second-place
- Tight Rope: Second-place
- The Excavator: First-place
The 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit was an entirely different story though, as Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr sweeped all three event wins on day one for a perfect start to the competition. This already secured her a massive lead, which she ended up maintaining over the next six events as well.
Starting with day two, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr managed to win another event, extending her lead and crushing the spirit of her rivals. Well, all but one, since Laura Horvath started showing her best form from there on, winning the next four events in a row. Luckily for Tia-Clair, she often finished in second place behind Laura, not allowing the defending champion to cut down her overall lead by much.
The final event saw Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr take her fifth event victory to claim her fourth title at the Rogue Invitational. However, the competition also proved that Toomey-Orr vs Horvath is arguably the best rivalry ever seen in the women’s division, as no one apart from these two athletes has taken an event win at this year’s competition.
The 2024 Rogue Invitational CrossFit was a true spectacle to watch, featuring dozens of the fittest people on earth. However, the sheer excellence of Jeffrey Adler and Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr was mind-blowing, as they crushed their rivals to take the title. They were also rewarded with a prize of over $280,000
