Unfortunately for Lionel Beyeke, he will have to sit out the 2019 Arnold Classic. This could have been the year he placed within the top 5 (6th last year) but because he did not get his passport in time, all his hard work and preparation will not be realized.

“My friends, it is with a heart in pain that I inform you, that I will not finally make the Arnold Classic Columbus this year because of passport problem. I did not receive my new passport in time to be able to be at Arnold Classic in March. I will keep you informed of my competition schedule. thank you very much for your support friends”.

Beyeke has an impressive physique and top-tier genetics so it’s sad to see his talent go to waste for one of the biggest shows in professional bodybuilding. But life happens and whether or not he could have done anything to prevent the passport issue from happening is his business.
