To start his grocery trip, Sam Sulek wanders down the cereal aisle to stock up on his essentials: Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Special K.
“What better aisle to start the first grocery trip of the bulk than the cereal aisle? So, I’m going to curb my enthusiasm just a touch. I’m still going to get Cinnamon Toast Crunch, of course. I mean come on, I’d be crazy not to. But I’m honestly for like the majority, I’m a bit more of a fan of the fucking Special K. Two boxes of that it’ll be perfect.”
Sulek reveals that he is lowering his sugar intake and switching to easier-to-digest carbs instead.
“I’m easing up on the sugar intake. I’m easing up on the sugar intake. The majority of these carbs are going to be coming from, well, just slower-digesting carb sources. It’s not so kind-of tough on my system in a way which is something I’ve only kind of begun to really understand the value of as of late.”
The aspiring bodybuilder shares that he first wants to reach 280 pounds and then in a few years, hopes to achieve the monstrous goal of 300 pounds. He also explained that he is lowering his fat intake and mainly taking in his calories through carbs.
“I got to hit 280 somehow, and fast forward a few years, I’ve got to hit 300 somehow. If I can get in tune with this machine, this big as fucking thing around here pushing the cart, the sooner I can do that the better.”
“I’m trying to ease up on the fat intake, you know? Because I’m trying to like I was saying yesterday, my primary concern right now is maximizing my carb intake. I want most of my calories coming through carbs. I’m still going to get 150 grams of fats.”
Sulek proceeds with his grocery store haul, picking up a few dozen eggs and containers of egg whites. Then, picked up a box of white rice.
“I’m not going to say this is the Sam Sulek method, but it’s so easy to cook this. There’s no need for any pots, pans or anything fancy,” says Sulek.
Sulek opts for instant mac and cheese bowls (Annie’s brand). It wouldn’t be a Sam Sulek haul without a couple packs of Top Ramen.
“I see no fucking problem with this. I would be concerned if you were trying to diet down,” shares Sulek.
In the meat section, Sulek picked up tilapia and suggested boiling it with salt, pepper, and lemon. He also bought some steaks and ground beef.
“A couple of rib eyes would be perfect. I’m no longer limited to just lean-ass cuts of top round but I kind of want to pick the ones that don’t have massive fat caps.”
Aiming to reach his protein needs for each day, Sulek made a pit stop for sardines.
“All I gotta do is pick which one I like the most. I’m really looking for a King Oscar Mediterranean.”
Sam Sulek might have a plethora of critics but he has also earned the support of countless individuals. This includes bodybuilding legend Lee Priest who has come to his defense on several occasions. Additionally, five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead has acknowledged his potential in professional bodybuilding. Bumstead went as far as saying ‘he is taking over the world.‘
Sam Sulek has had the opportunity to train next to some of the greatest in the world including Samson Dauda. They have demolished several intense training sessions together and seem to have developed quite a friendship. He has also trained to failure alongside bodybuilder Hunter Labrada.
Even though Sam Sulek’s process may seem unusual to most, he has developed a system that works for him. With his goal of becoming a Classic Physique bodybuilder in the next year or so, fans can’t wait to see how Sulek improves his physique.
