Hafþór Julius Björnsson who plays “The Mountain” on hit TV show “Game of Thrones,” says he “held back” when he sparred Conor McGregor back in 2015.

You remember the video, 6’9″, 400-lb strongman decided to square off against 5’9″, 154lb MMA fighter Connor McGregor in Ireland before Conor’s big fight against Jose Aldo. Could the little guy from Ireland stand up to the much larger man from Iceland?

According to a recent interview on RT Sport, Björnsson admitted that he held back during the encounter and claimed that, had he wanted, he could’ve done some serious damage to his much smaller opponent.
