Garbrandt was 11-0 going into Saturday’s title fight and now he’s suffered his first career defeat. His recent history includes wins over Cruz, Takeya Mizugaki and Thomas Almeida, so he’s still in a good spot. He should be firmly back in the title picture sooner rather than later.
Dillashaw is now 15-3 as a professional, with 11 wins in the UFC.
