Jim Manion president of NPC & IFBB Professional League in his latest interview with Bob Cicherillo shared more details about the changes and worldwide expansion of the league.
Ever since the NPC and the IFBB announced they will be splitting apart, people were confused as to what this really meant. Some didn’t even know the distinction between IFBB pro and IFBB – two separately operated entities that worked together across the globe. This is no longer the case and many international competitors were shocked and confused wondering how they would be able to obtain a pro card and aim to compete at the Mr. Olympia.
Jim explains why NPC still accepting applications from athletes for IFBB Pro cards and what will be the new procedure in 2018. In 2018, any athlete that would want to win their IFBB Pro card will only be able to earn it by competing with the NPC.
Jim Manion also emphasized that he understands what decision an athlete wants to take. If the athlete decides to stay with any other federations, he supports their decision.
