Cydney Gillon wins again the 2019 Ms. Figure Olympia!
The 2019 Olympia weekend is happening and the Figure Olympia division has seen many champions over the years but one competitor has dominated for the past two and that’s Cydney Gillon from Atlanta, Georgia.
So, the 2019 Figure Olympia contest was highly anticipated seeing as there were a few elite athletes with potential championship qualities. The former Figure champion (2015, 2016) Latorya Watts was one of the favorites this year and so it came down to the two best competitors in the division…
Figure Olympia Results: As expected, the two-time and reigning champion (2017, 2018) Cydney Gillon made the first call out but she was accompanied by former two-time Figure Olympia champion (2015, 2016) Latorya Watts in the final call out. And it was close as both competitors looked very sharp but Gillon was clearly the better competitor as she was sharper and more well-rounded. Congrats to the Figure Olympia champ for her third consecutive win!
Latorya Watts was also very impressive tonight, bringing a complete package that was reflective of the two-time Figure Olympia champion (2015, 2016) that she is. Watts was neck and neck with last year’s champion Cydney Gillon in pre-judging, she takes 2nd place award. Check out the official results below!
