The 2021 Vallarta BodyFit Contest took place July 31st — August 1st, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. This is the complete results from this contest, and a breakdown of who will get an invitation to the 2021 Mr. Olympia.
The second IFBB Pro League bodybuilding contest to go down over the weekend, the BodyFit Contest saw athletes in both the 212 Division and the Bikini Division punch a ticket to the 2021 Olympia, set to take place October 7th — 10th, in Orlando, Florida.
Aside from that, this event saw a full lineup of NPC competitors, making their way up through the amateur rankings to potentially one day earn a Pro Card. Competitors were seen here from the Men’s Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Bikini, Figure, Women’s Physique, and Wellness Divisions.
Of course, all attention was on the pros, as athlete were vying for their chance at competing at the biggest contest in the sport, later this fall. When all was said and done, only one athlete from each division would be able to qualify.
The 212 Division of the 2021 Vallarta BodyFit Contest was made up of eleven athletes, seven of whom hail directly from Mexico. The winner here would be making a case for why they should be considered a contender for Shaun Clarida’s 212 Olympia title.
The other part of the contest saw another eleven Bikini competitors, but with only four of them hailing directly from Mexico. The winner of this was the second competitor in this division to qualify for the Olympia this weekend, joining the winner of Janet Layug’s Battle of the Bodies.
