It was a busy weekend in the world of bodybuilding as a number of shows took place around the world, including the 2023 Sheru Classic Mexico Grand Battle Pro & Expo in Cuidad de Mexico, Mexico from September 16-17. This Olympia qualifier featured athletes from the Men’s Physique and Bikini categories.
Athletes have little time left to qualify for the greatest event on the calendar: 2023 Mr. Olympia, taking place November 2-5, in Orlando, Florida inside the Orange County Convention Center. The point system has been removed, making it more challenging to secure entry to the marquee event.
In the end, Edvan Palmeira emerged victorious after a hard-fought battle to secure the Men’s Physique title. Meanwhile, Reyna Perez Mecalco proved unstoppable in her quest to claim gold in the Bikini division. Both winners will have a chance to face the Olympia champions of their respective divisions in the coming weeks.
