The 2024 CrossFit South America Semifinal took place from May 31st – June 2nd at Arena Carioca 1 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It marked the end of the Semifinal stage, along with two more competitions in other regions. The South America Semifinal also proved to be very interesting, with a large portion of the credit going to Guilherme Malheiros and Victoria Campos, who won the individual divisions.

The growth of the sport and abundance of talent in South America are very impressive, which is why this semifinal received an increase in the number of qualifying spots for the CrossFit Games. So, this year, the top three men, top three women, and top two teams secured their spots at the Games.
