Athletes from Men’s Physique took over the 2024 Musclecontest Rio on September 28, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Not only were cash prizes on the line, but the contender who walked away victorious also clinched a coveted qualification to next year’s Mr. Olympia competition.
While the qualification deadline for the 2024 Mr. Olympia has came and went, that hasn’t stopped athletes from eying their tickets to next year’s Super Bowl of Bodybuilding. Fans are overjoyed to witness absolute chaos when the 2024 Mr. Olympia event returns to Las Vegas, Nevada next month for the show’s epic 60th anniversary celebration.
It was a dog fight on stage as a crop of determined Men’s Physique contenders waged war in Brazil. The density, quarter turns, and back definition of Felipe Goncalves stole the show, leading to a commanding victory on stage. In light of his big win, he’ll have a date with whoever wins the Men’s Physique Olympia title next month when Olympia returns October 10-13. Check out the full results below:
