Competitors clashed, prizes were won, and bodybuilding action consumed Monterrey, Mexico from August 31 to September 1 at the 2024 Pharlabs Mexico Grand Battle Pro. The competition featured talent from the Men’s Physique and Bikini divisions, serving as a qualification event for the upcoming Mr. Olympia contest.
We are down to the wire; athletes are scurrying to earn invites to the 2024 Mr. Olympia event, set to celebrate the organization’s 60th anniversary in Las Vegas, Nevada. How much time is left for athletes to qualify? Less than three weeks. The expiration date to earn a ticket to the prestigious Mr. Olympia is September 15.
Competitors from the Men’s Physique category put on a show in Mexico. They are all chasing the physique of Ryan Terry, who ousted Erin Banks as champion at the 2023 Olympia in a stunning upset. In light of Mauro Fialho’s statement victory, he’ll have a shot at the UK-based champion in the weeks to come.
The spotlight also shifted to contenders from the Bikini division, ruled by none other than the reigning two-time Ms. Bikini Olympia Jennifer Dorie. Reyna Perez controlled the stage for much of the night, displaying exceptional balance married with symmetry and aesthetics. We congratulate the two winners on their success this weekend.
