The 2024 Strongman Champions League Cyprus took place on October 12th in Limassol, Cyprus. It featured a total of five events and a dozen elite Strongman athletes. In turn, following a day full of action, Adam Roszkowski from Poland managed to take home the title.
Adam Roszkowski only won one of the five events at the 2024 Strongman Champions League Cyprus competition. However, he consistently placed high throughout all other events, which is what ultimately secured him first place overall.

Event One — Bus Pull
The first event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Cyprus was the Bus Pull. In this event, the athletes were strapped to a huge bus of undeclared weight, and they had to pull it for a distance of 20 meters. The goal was to reach the finish line as quickly as possible.

Kelvin de Ruiter has had incredible results on vehicle pulling events in the past and managed to top the leaderboards once again. He completed the event in just 26.22 seconds, which allowed him to take the max points.
Kane Francis also had an incredible time, finishing in 27.53 seconds. This was enough to secure him the second place, while Tuomas Lindroos took third with a time 0.63 seconds slower than Kane’s.

Event Two — Front Hold
Moving onto the second event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Cyprus, the athletes had to perform the Front Hold. In this event, they had to pick up a 25-kilogram (55-pound) implement and hold it in front of them with completely straight arms. It was a test of endurance, meaning that the goal was to hold the implement for as long as possible.
All of the athletes were pushing themselves to the limits, as seen by the grimaces on their faces. In the end, Andrea Invernizzi proved to have the strongest shoulders, holding the implement for 56.13 seconds to take the win.
Hristo Muskov fell just over 1 second short of Andrea’s time, thus placing second in the event. Next in line was Adam Roszkowski, who held the implement for 51.22 seconds.

Event Three — Loading Race
Marking the midway point of the competition was the Loading Race. It challenged the athletes with picking up, carrying, and loading three implements. The weight of the implements was 120-kg (264.5-lb), 140-kg (308.6-lb), and 160-kg (352.7-lb), respectively. Each of the implements was placed 10 meters away from the loading platform.
Nearly all of the athletes managed to load all three implements within the allotted time limit, meaning that it came down to who performed the event the quickest. Well, with a time of 20.68 seconds, Adam Roszkowski was the one who picked up the maximum points.
Péter Juhász and George Sulaiman were involved in an extremely tight race for second place. Consequently, Péter managed to win the duel, beating George by 0.13 seconds.

Event Four — Log Lift
The penultimate event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Cyprus was the Log Lift. Specifically, the athletes had to overhead press a 140-kilogram (308.6-pound) Log for as many reps as possible within the 60-second time limit.
Although many athletes tied across the board, Brian Kichton was the sole winner of the event with seven reps on the Log Lift. However, the second place was shared by Adam Roszkowski and Andrea Invernizzi, as both locked out six repetitions.

Event Five — Atlas Stone Medley
For the final event, the athletes had to pick up and load five Atlas Stones ranging from 130-kg (286.6-lb) to 200-kg (440.9-lb). The goal was to load all five in the quickest time possible, but the time limit was set to 75 seconds.
The final stone of the series was extremely heavy, which is why only a couple of athletes managed to lift it. The quickest of them was Kane Francis, loading all five in just 21.84 seconds and taking the event win.
George Sulaiman got all five stones in just 26.68 seconds, securing a second place for himself. Lastly, Brian Kichton finished in third as the only other man to finish the entire event.
