Event Recap
Event One — Arm Over Arm Boat Pull
For the first event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Estonia the athletes had the task of performing an arm-over-arm boat pull for a distance of 25 meters. The weight of the boat was 10,000 kilograms (22,046 pounds), while the given time limit was 75 seconds. The goal of the event was to pull the boat across the finish line in the shortest time possible.
Only one athlete managed to finish the event in under 40 seconds, and it was none other than Ervin Toots. Representing Estonia and competing on home turf, Ervin was eager to put in a good performance, and the Boat Pull allowed him to get an event win.
The battle for second-place was nothing short of spectacular as well, since Péter Juhász and Adam Roszkowski finished with nearly identical times. However, it turned out that 0.18 seconds separated the two, with Péter having the slightly faster time and thus finishing in second-place.

Event Two — Viking Press for Reps
Moving onto the second event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Estonia, the athletes had to perform as many reps as possible on the Viking Press. Specifically, the Viking Press is a form of an overhead press that is performed on a specially designed piece of equipment. It was loaded with 165 kilograms (363.8 pounds), and the athletes were given a 60-second time limit.
Adam Roszkowski was very dominant in the second event, having displayed unbelievable upper body strength. He performed 18 repetitions, and the only thing that seemed to have limited him was the time cap.
Péter Juhász was the second-best man in the Viking Press, successfully locking out 16 repetitions on the machine. So, this marked a great start to the competition for him, having finished second in two consecutive events. Aivars Šmaukstelis rounded up the top three with one rep less than Péter.
- Adam Roszkowski — 18 reps
- Péter Juhász — 16 reps
- Aivars Šmaukstelis — 15 reps

Event Three — Medley: Wheelbarrow & Shield Carry
The third event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Estonia featured a mix of two well-known events. Specifically, the athletes had to perform a medley of a Wheelbarrow and Shield Carry. In turn, they first had to push a 500-kilogram (1,102.3-pound) Wheelbarrow for a distance of 20 meters. Then, they also had to carry a 180-kilogram (396.8-pound) Shield for another 20 meters. The goal was to complete the event in the shortest time possible.
Evans Nana has proven on multiple occasions that his rivals have a very low chance of beating him in any type of moving event. So, he was excited to show off his skills once again, completing both elements of the Medley in just 27.73 seconds. This gave him a very comfortable first-place finish.
The only other man, apart from Nana, who managed to finish the event in under half a minute was Kane Francis. The recently crowned 2024 England’s Strongest Man continues to achieve amazing feats of strength, and his second-place finish in the medley event is proof of it. Adam Roszkowski found himself in the top three once again, finishing the event with a time of 30.27 seconds.

Event Four — Conan’s Wheel
The penultimate event of the 2024 Strongman Champions League Estonia was undoubtedly the most difficult one for the athletes, as they had to perform the infamous Conan’s Wheel. Performed with a zercher grip, the Conan’s Wheel features a thick beam, which is not only heavy to hold, but also does not allow the athletes to breathe properly. Moreover, they had to battle these difficulties while carrying a 350-kilogram (771.6-pound) implement for the maximum distance possible.
The Estonia native, Ervin Toots, found himself at the top of the leaderboards once again by reaching a distance of 50.5 meters on the Conan’s Wheel. Multiple athletes were close to him, but no other athlete managed to reach 50 meters.
Kane Francis ended up dropping the implement at the 49.4-meter mark, which gave him second-place and a substantial amount of points. The third-place went to Evans Nana, who finished with a result of 48.6 meters.
- Ervin Toots — 50.5 meters
- Kane Francis — 49.4 meters
- Evans Nana — 48.6 meters
- Adam Roszkowski — 45.9 meters
- Aivars Šmaukstelis — 36.7 meters
- Kevin Hazeleger — 35.5 meters
- Péter Juhász — 32.2 meters
- Ilya Khazov — 18 meters

- Andrea Invernizzi — 8.9 meters
- Heikki Pohjonen — 7.8 meters
- Kelin Mills — 6 meters
Event Five — Power Stairs
The final event of the competitions was the Power Stairs, which have made a comeback to the pro scene in recent years but are still not that frequent of a sighting. In this event, the athletes had to pick up and carry four implements up a flight of stairs. The weight of the implements ranged from 200-kg (440.9-lb) to 275-kg (606.3-lb).
Adam Roszkowski wrapped up the competition with an even win, being one of two athletes to carry the implement across a total of 16 stairs. In turn, he also officially became the 2024 Strongman Champions League Estonia champion.
Aivars Šmaukstelis also climbed up a total of 16 stairs in 90 seconds, meaning that he had to share first place with Adam in the final event. On the other hand, Kane Francis was the fastest out of five athletes who completed 15 stairs, which is why he finished in third place.
- Adam Roszkowski — 16 stairs in 90s
- Aivars Šmaukstelis — 16 stairs in 90s
- Kane Francis — 15 stairs in 51.03s
- Evans Nana — 15 stairs in 67.32s
