Wellness contenders collided for a showdown on June 22 in Tacoma, Washington at the 2024 Tanji Johnson Classic in pursuit of a coveted Olympia qualification. With the deadline to qualify ending in mid-September, pressure is mounting for athletes to guarantee their spot on stage in Las Vegas, Nevada for the show’s historic 60th anniversary

Even though this competition featured less than 10 competitors from the Wellness lineup, the degree of talent and physiques on display were top-notch, which gave the judges an insanely difficult job over the weekend. With hundreds of IFBB Pro cards awarded each year, shining atop a Pro stage has become even more challenging.

Competitors not only fought for an Olympia qualification but gave it their all inside the Tacoma Convention Center for a cash prize and ultimate bragging rights. In the end, the balanced lower body density and aesthetics of Natasha Peay guided her to a gold trophy. She will have the opportunity to face off against reigning Wellness Olympia queen Francielle Mattos when the curtains close at Olympia in October.

  • Winner — Natasha Peay (Spokane, WA)
  • Second Place — Normarie Fonseca (Puerto Rico)
  • Third Place — Madi Begley (Draper, UT)

  • Fifth Place — Carrie Bradshaw (Inglewood, CA)
  • Sixth Place — Jamie Mckenzie (Kennewick, WA)
