Eva Andressa’s Biography
Starting her fitness journey
Born and bred in Curitiba, Brazil, Eva Andressa was a very skinny girl growing up. Eva had insecurities about her physique which increased as she hit her teenage years. Eva Andressa’s skinny frame made her look a lot younger, which was embarrassing for her. She started working out to gain some muscles and develop a thick figure.
Andressa had a rocky start in her fitness journey at 17 years. She had no fitness coach besides minimal knowledge about fitness. Training was extremely difficult for Eva, and she took a break from the gym within the first month. Eva Andressa still desired to sculpt her dream physique.
Meeting her husband
Eva Andressa met her future husband, Jarden Barros, during her break away from fitness. The two lovebirds were soon dating. Jarden Barros was coincidentally an athlete, giving Eva the much-needed motivation and training she needed for body transformation.
First Competition: after one year of consistent training, Eva Andressa’s physique was taking shape. Motivated by her quick transformation, Eva decided to start competing as an athlete. She was excited about her prospects in her fitness career. Eva Andressa believed she had the right genetics to develop a toned and unique physique. In 2005, Eva entered her first competition, the NABBA Lobo Bravo Cup in Brazil under the guidance of her husband. Eva Andressa emerged the figure champion.
At just 21 years, she was making a name for herself in the fitness world. But Eva Andressa was only getting started.
Eva Andressa worked even harder after first competition. She continued going hard in the gym, improving her physique in the following couple of months. True to her ambitious nature, Eva Andressa was now set on conquering the nationals. She entered the 2006 NABBA Parana Championships in Brazil.
Eva added more accolades to her trophy cabinet, placing 1st in the competition. Eva Andressa became the national figure champion. In 2007, she was working too hard and decided to take a small break from competition. Eva Andressa spent a year away from fitness shows but was still very active in the gym.
At 24, Eva Andressa started competing again after the much-deserved break. Eva had recovered mentally and physically and was now focused on winning bigger fitness shows. She entered the IFBB Body Fitness competition held in Brazil in 2008. Eva Andressa was no underdog and replicated her earlier successes, placing 1st in the high profile show.
She participated in more competitions, emerging the overall winner in 2009 IFBB competition. Eva Andressa was placed an impressive 3rd in the IFBB South American Championship.
She achieved her dream physique at 25 years. She had conquered several fitness shows despite earning little money. Eva Andressa continued her fitness journey and established herself as a fitness model to financially support herself. She had amassed the right fan base and network to succeed as a fitness model. Eva Andressa was soon a fitness icon, especially in Brazil, becoming the face of a nutrition company.

Eva Andressa was soon noticed by the media and appeared on Programa do Jo, a celebrity TV show in Brasil. The show made Eva a household name in Brasil and an internet sensation. Eva Andressa was still set on achieving new levels in the fitness industry. Over the next couple of years, she was featured in numerous global magazines. Since, 2014, Eva Andressa has been working hard to inspire millions around the world to achieve their fitness goals through motivational speeches and training, nutrition advice. Training & Workout
Eva doesn’t have a specific workout plan. Her training sessions mainly depend on what she feels is necessary on a specific day. Eva Andressa always completes 4 sets of every exercise. She trains to failure with no specific reps.
During her competing days, Andressa trained twice a day, with no rest days. She mostly did aerobic exercises, training for a minimum 40 minutes per session. Eva Andressa now only trains three times every week. Interestingly, Eva stopped training her chest, biceps, and triceps when she started modeling. The fitness model believes that the parts are her ideal size.
Nutritiоn & Diеt
During her competition days, Eva Andressa followed a very strict diet to ensure a lean physique. Even though she stopped competing, she still monitors her diet. Eva Andressa aims at maintaining around 12% body fat. Eva only partakes of a cheat day twice a year during the Christmas period. Eva Andressa’s diet plans revolve around lean proteins, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
Eva consumes carbs during the day until 6 pm, where she switches to proteins and vegetables. Eva Andressa regularly takes supplements, with her favorites being Glutamine and Whey Protein. She believes in having a diet plan that is based on what brings out the best from your body.
