Strongman Martins Licis took to the stage for the stone to shoulder event but nobody was expecting what happened after his second repetition. Licis completed the rep and when he dropped the 410 pound stone on the stage, it continued to roll out of control and off the stage.

Now, Arnold Schwarzenegger and other people were within close proximity and it could have ended pretty bad for someone. But fortunately, no one was hurt and Arnold made light of the situation. Martins Licis was visibly upset when the stone landed on the floor but he eventually pumped his fist and the suspense subsided with everyone in good spirits.

After the show, Schwarzenegger was interviewed by Bob Chicherillo and he had this to say about he close call with a 410 pound stone…

“When it starts rolling towards you it’s really wild but it’s all a part of show business I think it really created a little bit of extra suspense today”.
