Sara Sigmundsdottir has been killing it lately and is now on top of the leaderboard after the first 2 Open workouts. She recently won Strength in Depth in London and now leads the pack after CrossFit workout’s 19.1 and 19.2.

Her current level of performance is quite impressive despite her rib injury last year but Sara doesn’t seem to be affected in any way as she’s possibly better than ever at this point. She placed third in both 2015 and 2016 at the CrossFit Games and maybe 2019 will be her year.

But it’s much too early to make any predictions so we’ll leave you with the current standings. Karin Freyova and Dano Speegle sit in the second and third place spots in that order.

Here’s the current leaderboard:

Hopefully, Sara Sigmundsdottir keeps her lead going into the CrossFit Games and continues to improve all the way up to the big finale in Madison, Wisconsin.
