After Arnold move to America, he focused entirely on bodybuilding where physique values most, winning the Mr. Olympia contest is the ultimate prize. He first gave the contest a shot in 1969, but he lost the crown to another legend, Sergio Oliva. Arnold returned next year with enhanced definition and size, and, at just 23 years old, he won the Mr. Olympia crown, becoming the youngest man ever to win the title. But for Arnold it was just the start as he would go on to win Mr. Olympia five more times, completely owning the sport from 1970 to 1975. Following the 1975 competition, Schwarzenegger announces it was his last Competition and retired from the bodybuilding having felt that he accomplished all his goals in the sport.

But five years later, 1980 Mr. Olympia contest in Sydney, Australia was just around the corner, and he was asked to host the event, but Arnold had other plans. Just one day before the contest Arnold announced he is competing again and won!!!
