Johnnie Jackson stepped on the bodybuilding stage for the last time at the 2017 Arnold Classic Europe competition. Shortly after his retirement, he signed up with Dorian Yates Super League.

Injuries are part of any sports, no matter how prepared you try to be – the act of lifting heavy weight is dangerous.

In the Super League, “Bodybuilding Meets Performance” each competitor required to perform 12 reps of each exercise using the “heaviest weight” they can manage while still maintaining proper form.

Maximum points are awarded for successful completion of the 12 reps; however, failure to perform all 12 reps, results in a lower score.

Well, that seems dangerous, Johnnie Jackson is the second top tire bodybuilder who is getting injured now in the Super League competitions, so how dangerous is Super League? Well, check out the following video by Marc Lobliner as he breaks down Super League and shares his thoughts on if it will survive.

Dorian Yates’ Super League – Dangerous, Boring, and Bicep Tears:

We hope a speedy recovery for you Johnnie Jackson!
