Lifting heavy weights can be an exceptionally tough task. While the uneducated may simply look at the endeavor as just lifting things up and putting it down, there are intricate details in training that can mean the difference between a successful workout session and a tremendous amount of pain.
There’s truly nothing worse than injuring yourself right when you’re on a roll. Well, it seems like for the sake of some extra popularity and likes most credible bodybuilders are also falling into the trap of damaging themselves.
Its understood sometimes we can get enthusiastic, particularly when we’re doing something we love the most. But nowadays, gym’s are quickly becoming more and more like circuses.
In short, this shit is getting ridiculous.
Don’t get us wrong though, if you’ve got full control over the situation and are some form of weird circus professional, by all means, train however you want to train. But if you’re attempting something that’s completely insane and you’re weak as hell, then don’t bother.
For those that lean towards bodybuilding and considered as their passion there comes a time when your love of lifting and your necessity to have laugh somehow combine.

Calum Von Moger, aka Arnold 2.0 has just learned the hard way.
Recently Calum collided into Class with physique Olympia runner-up Chris Bumstead at Gold’s Gym Venice. The two exchanged pleasantries and eventually to decided to make a lifting video together. And that’s where things took a bad turn…
While Calum was attempting to perform a two-person 400lb curl on a barbell with someone a different height to him, he seems to tear his bicep on the second half-rep ouch.
Calum took to Instagram and confirmed his injury that he forgot to warm-up properly.
DONT TRY THIS! last night I had this crazy idea that me and @cbum_ should attempt a 400lb barbell curl. Was all fun and games until I tore my bicep. I really should have known better, I forgot to warm up properly and should have used #koalafreak pre from @staunch.nation instead of the stim free ? Bicep: Pretty sure it’s a Grade 2 tear going off the web and the symptoms. Can Take up to 3 weeks before I’ll get strength back. I’ll try and see a specialist and get their opinion on it too. Note: Learn from my stupid mistakes! You can see half the arm workout on my YouTube ch.
