King Ronnie Coleman is undoubtedly one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He boasts 8 Mr. Olympia titles and some of the most impressive training videos on the internet. However, a lifetime of championship training takes its toll. Sadly, Ronnie is approaching his 8th but hopefully final back surgery.
Ronnie is a man who has stated that he’ll always be training for the rest of his life, that strength and bodybuilding training will always be apart of him.
When asked if the price he paid for the titles was too high, Ronnie says it was all worth it. And that the only thing he’d do differently is train harder.
And for anyone doubting the Olympia champion’s words, Ronnie Coleman recently shared an Instagram post showing the veteran bodybuilder hard at work in the gym, just two weeks out from major surgery.
“Trying my best to get this small back just a little bit bigger. Training back and Bi’s on an early Friday morning with @bigj_extremefitness. I now have almost 2 weeks until my rescheduled surgery February 6th. I was suppose to have it last Friday but Dr called and said I needed to be off my anti-Inflammatory medication for 2 weeks because last surgery I bled too much during the operation. It was actually the best news I’ve heard in a long time because I’m not looking forward to having my intestines removed so my spine can be taken out and a cage inserted.”
