- Incline Bench Press
- Lateral Raises
- Reverse Lateral Raises
- Pull-Downs
- Cable Rows
- Seated Hamstring Curl
- Leg Extensions
- Dumbbell Curls
- Straight Bar Pushdowns
- For Cardio Bike
“Chest, I mean incline bench. Then shoulders, lateral raises, of course, side delts. Reverse lateral raises, rear delts. Back, I’d say just normal pull-downs then cable rows. I feel like you could have a pretty solid workout with just those two” Sulek said.
Already happy with the few selections he has made, Sulek continued thinking about each part of the body, ensuring he had a movement to target them all.
“Legs, seated hamstring curl, leg extensions. Arms, I’d say just normal dumbbell curls, straight bar pushdowns.”
Struggling to think of the last exercise, Sulek explains that he doesn’t work on his abs and instead opts for the cardio bike.
“I don’t train abs right now because it’s just not that important to me, I didn’t realize it was that controversial.
I would add the cardio bike, I can guarantee 99% of you guys aren’t utilizing that piece of equipment but I say if I had those ten I’d still be pretty freaky.”
Sulek isn’t the only bodybuilder to offer 10 exercises for muscle growth. In recent months, Chris Bumstead and Phil Heath have followed the trend with their own preferred movements. Chris Bumstead’s included simple methods like squats and pull-ups as well as lateral raises to hit the delts.
Phil Heath incorporated lateral raises in his top ten but got a little more technical with movements like bent-over underhand barbell rows. Part of his strategy was using ropes for face pulls and triceps extensions to get a well-rounded workout.
Sam Sulek continues to impress the fitness community with his freakish physique and unconventional way of putting on mass. While he hasn’t attempted to compete professionally, fans are waiting to see what Sulek attempts next in his bodybuilding journey.
