VIDEO: 17-yo Samantha Eugenie Blows Through 430lb Deadlift Double!

Samantha Eugenie is a female powerlifter that is worth keeping an eye on. She demonstrated that with a recent video hitting a massive deadlift double, in a recent gym session.

For those who are unaware, Eugenie is a bright young powerlifting prospect who resides in France. At just 17 years of age, she has already begun setting herself apart as a special talent. Competing in the -63kg weight division, she has taken part in several meets, including the 2019 European Championships, last month. As a result, she has begun making a name for herself in the European circuits, and now in the United States.

Eugenie continued to show her development with some posts from her Instagram. One video in particular, shows her accomplishing a new personal deadlift record. During the session, she was doing an SBD workout (squat, bench press, deadlift), and managed to set two new PRs in one day. Although she killed the squat, what really blew our minds was her impressive 430lb/195kg deadlift double.

Eugenie starts off the lift by stomping her feet, to secure her weight. Then, she adjusts her belt and gets to work. What makes this so incredible though, is the lack of effort it seems to take her to lift more than three times her bodyweight. She really makes it look easy like she could do even better.

It is without a doubt that Samantha Eugenie is one of the best young prospects in the sport of powerlifting. This deadlift is an increase from the 155kg lift she could do around a year ago. Therefore, if she continues to grow and develop at the pace she currently is, then she will absolutely be a force to be reckoned with moving forward.
