The IFBB Europa Pro 2020 took place in Spain earlier today, and the event saw top competitors from each division duke it out in an effort to punch their ticket to the 2020 Olympia scheduled for December.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, many events were canceled or postponed but it’s great to see things moving along as planned. The Europa Pro was one of the last few qualifiers for Mr. Olympia 2020 and so athletes will be cutting it close in upcoming competition if they didn’t qualify here but at this stage, we’re seeing the highest level of competition, so it won’t be easy.
Big Ramy of Egypt was a favorite to win the Open division show before he tested positive for the coronavirus, and therefore he wasn’t able to compete or qualify for the Olympia in this event. But fans are hopeful that he’ll be able to come back in time to qualify.
