Arnold Schwarzenegger was unfortunately involved in a road accident on Sunday, Feb 5 2023. The Terminator star accidentally struck his car to a cyclist while he was driving in West Los Angeles. According to a few eyewitnesses, the cyclist, a woman, suddenly broke into his lane and that caused the accident. She was rushed to the hospital emergency room after she complained about pain. Police did not arrest anyone in relation to the accident and Arnold seems to be not at fault for the accident.

The law enforcement officials then arrived on the scene and questioned Arnold about the entire incident. According to a report by TMZ, the law enforcement sources concluded that Arnold was driving his vehicle at a reasonable speed. However, the woman suddenly broke into his lane in front of the car and the crash happened before Arnold could hit the brakes and bring the car to a halt. Although prima facie it seems that the 7-time Mr. Olympia was not at fault in the entire incident and it was something he could not have avoided by himself, a thorough investigation is still underway.

Reports state that the injured woman is in a stable condition. The officials confirmed that it was not a case of driving under influence. Some reports also alleged that Arnold attached the woman’s bicycle to his car and took it to a local store to repair the damage it sustained due to the accident.

Arnold Schwarzenegger faced a similar incident exactly one year ago

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s road accident coincides with a similar incident that happened last year at around same time. The 75-year-old was driving his GMC Yukon SUV along the Los Angeles Sunset Boulevard when he crashed it into a Red Prius at around 4:35 PM on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. However, unlike the recent bicycle accident, the incident was much more serious. The collision was so massive that the airbags of the Prius opened immediately upon impact.

Reportedly, Arnold was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of the Sunset and Allenford Avenue. However, he did not wait for the arrow to turn green which resulted in the accident. The authorities rushed female driver of the red Prius to the hospital as blood was gushing out of her head. No arrests were in the incident as well.
