In an interview with Global Muscle Radio, IFBB Pro bodybuilder Brandon Curry and his coach Abdullah talked about Curry’s look going into the 2019 Mr. Olympia competition.

“My mindset is improve, improve, improve, no questions”.

Abdullah wants Curry to come into the 2019 Olympia looking like a 1998 Ronnie Coleman (8x Mr. Olympia winner) which would mean he’d have to be “lights out” good. ’98 was Coleman’s first win at the Olympia and the rest was history.

Curry said he’ll come into the Olympia bigger and better with the same conditioning he had when he won the 2019 Arnold Classic.

But when the topic of about putting on more size came up, Curry explained…

“This is the opportunity of a lifetime. There’s no way I could train this hard, in my prime right now and not get bigger. He’s (Coach) not going to let me come on stage soft. The thing is The size is automatic, I’m already bigger going into this prep than I’ve ever been and I’m leaner already.”

We have faith Brandon Curry can come in looking like a similar version of a 1998 Ronnie Coleman (Although that’s a tough task) but if not, he’ll look amazing if he can bring the conditioning. The size will be there like he said, so let’s see how his body reacts to the prep.
