Many people have always been intrigued by the concept of watching a TV show where multiple contestants compete for the ultimate prize. So, it is not surprising that a TV series called “Gladiators” encountered so much success back in the 90s. Well, the show is now getting a remake in Australia, but the cast now looks to be better than ever. This is because the organizers called up professional Powerlifting, CrossFit, and Bodybuilding athletes, who will definitely put on a show for the viewers.
With the show set to return to TV screens in 2024, the cast was revealed on the official “Gladiators” Instagram account. The members were also introduced in a dramatic fashion, each dressed uniquely, resembling characters from a superhero movie. To be fair, the chosen members of the cast are probably as close to superheroes as we could ever see.

On the other hand, Bodybuilding will be represented by Kwame Duah. Originating from Australia, Kwame began competing in bodybuilding at just 18-years-old. He has since become very established on the scene, boasting incredible numbers of followers on social media and possessing a magnificent physique.
Like bodybuilding, Powerlifting will also have one representative, as Jaymi Morris is set to take part. She is truly an incredible athlete, but she also possesses an incredibly entertaining character, making her the perfect pick for the 2024 Australian Gladiators. As for her powerlifting career, Jaymi took part in 13 sanctioned competitions and won nine of them. Moreover, she recently went viral when she set the new U90KG Australian Raw Deadlift Record of 270 kilograms (595.2 pounds) shortly after taking a few chugs of whiskey.

During the 2024 Australian Gladiators TV show, the 12 competitors will face numerous challenges that will test both their mental and physical abilities. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have a date set for when the first episode of the show will air or what any of the challenges will be. However, this will only add to the excitement build up and the pleasure of finding out while watching everything unfold on TV. Judging by the cast, we can expect this to be one of the best editions of Gladiators in the very rich history of the show.
