Dana Linn Bailey Discusses Best Approach to Cardio Training for Burning Extra Calories 

In her latest offering on YouTube, DLB revealed the optimal amount of cardio needed to remain healthy and strong, explaining that it is all based on her calories-in-calories-out philosophy. Depending on how much you want to burn and how hard you are willing to push yourself, the time needed will vary. 

“What’s a good baseline, as far as cardio goes? How long should I be doing this?”

“By doing it by calories, it all depends on how hard you want to go. So, if I want to hit 200 calories, I do HIIT training, I could probably get that done in 10 minutes versus if you do something like steady state, at a regular pace, it’s going to take maybe 20 to 25 minutes.”

Dana Linn Bailey also highlighted that the more you train the more you can eat. 

“Cardio is just a great way to just burn extra calories. It’s a calories in calories out. So, if you train a little bit harder, you can eat a little bit more” Dana Linn Bailey explains
